The first `yellow` horse registered, she was not a palomino but rather a gold champagne. Listed as: cream yellow, both hind stockings, bald face, white mane and tail, foaled about 1913. Bred by J. D. Posten, Bunker Hill, TN. Owned by Burt C. Hunter & Son, Lewisburg, TN. info per TWH Stud Book vol. 1. Had 10 registered foals. Three were registered as yellow. Described as a light skinned mare with yellow (light colored) eyes.
